College of Science and Mathematics honors 2025 externally funded researchers

KENNESAW, Ga. | May 1, 2026

The College of Science and Mathematics at ºÚÁÏÍø honored 46 faculty members across all five departments for receiving or retaining external funding in 2025 with a reception on Tuesday, April 7.

Among the 46 faculty members, the college had 52 grants in 2025 to support faculty research and student success initiatives. Several of the faculty held multiple grants from a variety of sponsors including, but not limited to, federal grants from the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Department of Defense, and state grants from the Georgia Department of Agriculture, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and Georgia Department of Economic Development, as well as other private external grants.
