Special Fundraiser for High-Value Items
The Bentley Rare Book Museum (BRBM) is one of only two institutions in the state of Georgia that holds an authentic 1685 Fourth Folio of Shakespeare, which is the fourth edition of Shakespeare鈥檚 plays in print. This rare and extremely valuable item is one of the most important holdings at the BRBM; however, significant damage to the binding, endpapers, and several initial leaves renders the book less usable to patrons. The BRBM is embarking on a conservation and access initiative to repair the Fourth Folio and make it more accessible to the KSU campus and the community.
