Admission Requirements
The following are program-specific requirements beyond the general Graduate requirements. To be considered for admission to this program, the following application materials must be submitted to the KSU Graduate Admissions Office:
- Valid GaPSC-issued PRL Tier I or SRL Tier II Leadership Certificate and evidence of
passing GACE Leadership Ethics
- Leadership Mentor Form - Mentor must hold GaPSC Tier II Leadership Certificate
- Superintendent & District Agreement Form - Completed by the superintendent, or a proxy, indicating system level support for
entry and progression through the program
- Educational Specialist degree or higher
- Resume indicating a minimum of four (4) years of teaching or administrative experience
Note: Candidates must serve in a leadership position at either the P-12 school or local education agency or a regional educational service agency that will enable the candidate to fully meet the program鈥檚 residency requirements. A partnership agreement shall be established with the employing LUA, agency, or organization of each enrolled candidate to ensure candidates can meet Tier II level residency requirements.
Graduation Requirements
Each candidate must petition to graduate at least one semester prior to completion

Transfer Credits
Tier I Certification Only may rarely accept 3 hours of approved credit with a 鈥淏鈥 or better and no more than 5 years old.
Deadlines
- Enrollment for Spring - Deadline November 15
- Enrollment for Summer - Deadline May 1
- Enrollment for Fall - Deadline July 1
