The Institute for Spinal Ultrasound Imaging Classroom TRAINING COURSE

The on-line course is strongly recommended as a first step:

Initial technical useage personal training on site if insisted upon in person is only offered at Dr. Reid's clinic in Rochester, Minnesota to groups of three or more students (doctors or doctors' assistants/ technicians/ nurses/ C.A.'s) sponsored by a doctor.  A fee of $750. each is required pre-paid.  No discounts, beta fees, or volume discounts are available.  Individuals (sets of ONE) should take the on-line course first and then may come visit Dr. Reid's clinic in Rochester, Minnesota if they have not reached a total comfort zone with the on-line course and follow up long distance image reviews.

For graduates of the on-line course who desire on-site training , then on site lab days can be scheduled where-in a single student or small group may intern with Dr. Reid at his clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for a prepaid fee level of $150./day per student.  Appropriate attire & excellent hygiene is required for clinical interns on site. As many days as needed may be prepaid before internship on-site is begun.  Students are expected to come to the lab internship prepared from the on-line course with skills in common terminology, safe utilization standards, and Standards of Care:  Manual methods and/or enhanced interpretation can be offered in the lab sessions.  

Follow-up extended training is expected of each student via mail and E-mail critique of images for three to six weeks after their internship on-site such that assured guidance to excellent consistant quality images is attained.  (Minimum three patient image sets)  A certificate of Proficiency and Certification is issued by Dr. Reid as US Patent holder at the end of the assurance time period.  The course is based upon textbooks by the U.S. Patent holder, Dr. Reid, as well as independent Medical authors and covers the following categories:

Training interpretations are charged pre-paid $75. per region for each of the three sets.*  When clinical efficacy has been demonstrated on the long distance independent images mailed in for review and critiques, a beautiful certificate is issued for proficiency rating as from the United States Patent holder & the Institute for Spinal Ultrasound Imaging.  Certified examiners are then entered in the ISUI Log book for future lego medical reference by inquiring parties.  (Note* Usual interpretation fees are lower than training interpretation fees if a clinic desires long term interpretation services)

Radiologist or Specialist Interpretation Training is also offered for any clinician whose clinical staff has been certified in technical use through the "Technical Assured Certified Training Program" of  The Institute for Spinal Ultrasound Imaging....
